First time eating at cheers. Staying in an airbnb nearby. Food was very good. The white garlic cheese curds and stuffed peppers was amazing. Ihad the hand breaded chicken sandwich. My wife had the cuban.Bartenders fun and friendly. Wasn’t crowded. Please give this place a try. The menu is full of homemade items.
Finally, a great place to eat Lake Perch ❤️ I will consider myself slightly picky when it comes to giving a great food review. However, when it comes to a wonderful local place around “The Region“ as we call it , I will gladly give this a five out of five stars for the fabulous Lake Perch Dinner because the portions were amazing, the service was great and the presentation was spot on . For years, me and my family would go to Miller beach or to Flamingos. I live here in town and would rather NOT drive that far for a great perch dinner on a Friday. it is better than both those places.Fish Fridays and lake perch was something I definitely missed so much living in Texas. The atmosphere at Cheers is welcoming, hip , fun and has a great vibe, attracting young and old which I consider myself a mix of both 😂 Just go there!

Can’t say enough about the food here. Everything we’ve had has exceeded expectations. The grandkids love the pool tables, pinball and dart game area. Family friendly and nice atmosphere. Another Chesterton gem that you’ll appreciate once you know where they are ;D
It is a bit hard to find! Enter off the street and walk into an office building and walk back on the first floor. I love books and good drinks so this place was heaven. Best mango martini I’ve ever had! Nice staff!
This place is flying under the radar but deserves lots of attention. The food is fantastic! Giant rack of ribs with a tasty house bbq sauce and a zesty jalapeño slaw. My portion of mac and cheese with brisket was cheesy deliciousness and enough to feed two people! My family is definitely coming back! We came near the end of bingo/quiz night and we'll make sure to get here earlier next time. It was a lot of fun!
We loved this experience. The food and drinks were delicious and affordable. The staff was friendly and informative. We had the opportunity to chat with the bartender for a bit and learned little history on the building. Stop here when you are driving through. You will not be disappointed

The food is nothing short of amazing — every dish is full of flavor and made with care. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people. John and Ashley are wonderful — so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has a great experience. Between the delicious food, friendly service, and great vibe, Cheers is hands down one of the best spots in town. Highly recommend!
After a long day travelling we were looking for a place for dinner in Chesterton. Three restaurants we tried did not allow kids. Cheers welcomed the 8 of us even though it was fairly close to closing time. Everyone was gracious and extremely pleasant. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. A great find for us, I highly recommend!
